I originally had the same problem as Altomar with needing to select an older sound option for Lost Eden both with DOSBox 0.63 and 0.74. After changing two options in the DOSBox .conf file for DOSBox 0.74 I noticed that the SB16 and AWE32 option was now working. This is what I changed: output=ddraw and aspect=true Since these are both video options I can only guess that my other settings were creating some kind of IRQ, DMA, or memory conflict with the sound. Now both the sound and the video work Great!

Altomar

In order to install it you should run instdos.exe and not install.exe or else you cannot install the game under Dosbox. When you choose sound card don’t use auto but select manual and choose some older sound blaster and not SB16 and Awe32 or else it will not run. I finished it without some other problem.
